Hooker Valley Track

Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park is a rugged land of ice and rock - walking one of the tracks is the best way to experience this ancient landscape. The Hooker Valley Track is one of the most popular walks in Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park. The track goes along the Hooker River, ending at glacier lake, with amazing views of Aoraki/Mount Cook on a clear day. Along the way, you will cross three swing bridges and encounter picturesque icebergs, glaciers and majestic mountains that will have you reaching for your camera at every turn.

Round The Mountain Track

Walk around a volcanic mountain and immerse yourself for days in the strong, silent beauty of this World Heritage area. Round the Mountain track leads right around Mount Ruapehu, one of three towering volcanic cones within the Tongariro National Park. The cultural significance of this area to MÄÂÂ&Acircori people has earned the park World Heritage status. Follow the track as is, and it leads through tussock and shrubland to the Wairere Stream. Pass through tranquil mountain beech forest to the base of the Taranaki falls. From here, wind your way upwards to the Tama Saddle before descending to Waihohonu Hut for the night.

Kaitiaki Adventures - Mt Tarawera Guided Walk

At the end of the hike, your helicopter returns and whisks you off to a high-secret mountain location for a brief photo stop, a perfect finale to this stunning trip.
