Australia's largest and highly anticipated festival, Vivid Sydney, is back for its 13th edition. The dates for this year are from May 26th to June 17th, 2023. 

Theme and Stars

The theme for the festival this year is "Vivid Sydney, Naturally," which will showcase the creative interpretations of the natural world by some of the world's most talented light artists, musicians, thinkers, and culinary experts. The headlining acts for the festival will be writer and director of The White Lotus, Mike White, and star of the series, Jennifer Coolidge.

What's in Store

For 23 days and nights, the city of Sydney will be transformed into a stunning wonderland of art, light, and sound. Vivid Sydney Light Walk's signature Sydney Opera House Lighting of the Sails will see the works of one of Australia's most famed artists, John Olsen, brought to life as a tribute to his illustrious artistic career of more than 60 years.

Vivid Sydney 2023 is introducing its first-ever dedicated food program, Vivid Food, with an array of indulgent options to savour. The inaugural Vivid Food roster showcases dining experiences from local culinary experts and restaurants in collaboration with chefs from Cape Town, London, and New York. Some must-try classics include Circular Quay, the vibrant precinct of Gateway Sydney featuring casual eateries with a diverse range of cuisines.
