The town of Hershey in Pennsylvania is a model town envisaged by Milton S. Hershey, the founder of the eponymous chocolate company, as a utopia for the employees of his company. The town of Derry Church was renamed Hershey in 1906 and Hershey Park opened the following year as a place for the factory workers to relax with their families. Hershey today is a savvy resort town, with Chocolate World added to the theme park and resort amenities such as a chocolate spa and world-class golf course. See www.hersheypa.com.
