The Monte Music Festival will see music enthusiasts from across India make a trip to Goa to witness a celebration of cultural conversation, heritage, music, and dance.

One of the performances everyone is looking forward to is the one by acclaimed Portuguese fadista Pedro Moutinho, who will be accompanied by Andre Dias (guitar), Tiago Silva (fado guitar) and Daniel Pinto (acoustic bass).

The first day will also see a peformance by the&nbspPeckham-born British-Bengali artist Tara Lily,&nbspwho is known for her repertoire that pulls from jazz, soul and stylings of north Indian classical.

The festival will open with a performance of traditional Odissi dance by Mitali D&rsquoSouza and daughters, Diya and Risa.
