Once again the weekend is around the corner, and if you are in Kolkata, there is a lot to experience to get a vibe of this unique city. From night walks on the trail of haunted places to an evening of contemporary Bangla music and watching the Japanese GP live, there is a multitude of weekend events to attend in Kolkata. Our weekly curated list will give you an idea of what you can choose from.

A Night Tour Of The City

Kolkata is a city where one can discover marvels of the past simply by walking around the streets and lanes. Explore a different side to Kolkata via an exciting walk and storytelling session which will take you to haunted places. The focus of the whole night tour is to share stories of old Calcutta showcasing history and heritage. The storyline of the tour is "The Rise of the Colonial Empire" and it will be led by Avijit Dhar Chowdhury from Kolkata Explorers. Carry an original photo ID and a photocopy of the same with you. Though packaged drinking water will be included, we suggest you carry your bottle to avoid adding to trash on this planet. The tour will halt for a tea/coffee break at Hotel Hindusthan International.
