Tegel Artpark In Berlin
A mecca of urban art, it's nearly impossible to imagine Berlin with its street art. The artworks in Berlin's Tegel Artpark are particularly famous, towering up to 42 metres high since the facades of skyscrapers form the canvas. The vast murals create a unique open-air collection of urban art. Well-known artists and street art stars such as Berlin pop art legend Jim Avignon and Australian Fintan Magee designed the Artpark murals. The first one was created in 2015 eight huge pictures are now emblazoned on the high-rise buildings' walls near Lake Tegel. Some have already been painted over, so visiting the Artpark is always worthwhile.
