Are you a Korean cuisine enthusiast in Delhi and are on a hunt for the best Korean eateries in the city? Outlook Traveller has got you covered. From bibimbap and spicy ramen to fluffy mandus and a refreshing portion of bingsu, eateries serving Korean delicacies have cropped up in various parts of the city. Check out these five spots for great Korean food in the Delhi.

Hahn’s Kitchen

The food joint stands for the Yin Yang principle of Korean food that creates a balance of flavours, ingredients, and cooking techniques. While Korean dishes dominates the menu at this Delhi NCR-based restaurant, authentic Japanese dishes (including both vegetarian and non vegetarian sushi) options are also sprinkled across the menu. The quaint eatery with a rather simplistic ambience and clean interiors allows you to focus all your attention on its food.

Korean is their forte and we recommend you try their yachae gui (grilled vegetables with tare sauce), bulgogi (thin sliced tenderloin marinated with traditional BBQ sauce served with exotic mushrooms and vegetables), naksam dubbap (spicy rice bowl with octopus and pork), dogani tang (slow-simmered ox knuckle soup), bibimbap, and chicken galbi.

A highlight from their menu is their hotpots that are served with rice. Soontofu jjigae is a diner’s favourite. This is also one of the very few spots in the city that serves yache juk and kongnamul haejangguk.

Skim through their beverage menu for some eclectic mocktails and cocktails. Try their gangnam crush, Korean blush, or soju jinro chamisul to go along with the flavourful dishes.

Busan Korean Restaurant

Busan Korean Restaurant is  tucked in a corner of Majnu-ka-tilla. Floor seats, a large bay window, and the bamboo aesthetic coupled with some great dishes on the table make this Delhi-based Korean restaurant the perfect brunch spot or date venue with your loved one.

Kimchi Jigae (hot pot of kimchi and pork meat stew with a bowl of rice), Chapaghetti (noodles in black bean sauce), kimchi mandu jim (steam kimchi and pork moms), and bulgogi tukbap (grilled marinated buff with bowl of rice and soup) are some dishes that one shouldn't miss on their visit to the cafe. Most of these dishes are served with a host of side dishes like bean sprouts and pickled radish to complement the flavours of the dishes.

Kori’s

Kori’s now has two outlets open in the national capital: one in Humaynupur, and the other in Greater Kailash. The latter is famed as an instagrammable cafe. At both, though, dishes seem straight out of a K-drama.

Diners are big on the restaurant's kimbabs (Korean rice rolled in seaweed and served with kimchi and soy). Their mandu baskets, tofu and cheese don katsu, cheese tteokbokki (chilli sauce, rice cake, mozzarella cheese), and japchae (stir fried glass noodles) are absolute must-tries. Their chicken sausage dosirak (deep-fried chicken with chili sauce) is a crowd favourite.

Their signature Korean-style pancakes, hotteok, are a perfect way to end the meal on a sweet note.

Dalgrak is a minimalistic and low-key Korean food joint in Lajpat Nagar 4. With a range of options starting from ramen and steaks to stews and baps (including bibimbap, deopbap, bokkeumbap, and gimbap), Dalgrak is a great spot to savour it all.

Their black bean ramyeon, Korean fried chicken, and rapokki (ramen noodles with sticky rice cakes in sweet and tangy sauce) are some of the standout dishes from the menu. Accompany your meal with the delight of traditional Korean beverages. Jujube tea is a favourite.

While dessert options are many—from hotteok to waffles—you should try their bingsu, a shaved ice dessert. Be rest assured that you will be transported to a street food market in Jeonju on your visit to this restaurant.
