Colours of Maati is a two-day exhibition celebrating contemporary craft, Mithila art, and handmade futures, presented by MAATI – The Crafts School, a collective by Kadam supported by TATA TRUSTS. Held at SABHA in Bengaluru, the showcase brings together artisans, designers, architects, collectors, and the public to explore the living traditions of the Mithila region of Bihar through a contemporary lens.

The exhibition features handcrafted collections created by artisans from Madhubani and Darbhanga, highlighting the evolving practice of Mithila painting and its application in modern design, interiors, and everyday living. Four women artisans from Bihar will travel to Bengaluru to participate in the showcase, offering visitors a rare opportunity to engage directly with the makers behind the work.

The first day is dedicated to architects, interior designers, hospitality brands, retailers, procurement teams, and institutional collectors, creating opportunities for commissions, sourcing partnerships, and industry engagement.
