Udyan Utsav At Rashtrapati Bhawan
Udyan Utsav will take place at Amrit Udyan, Rashtrapati Bhavan, from February 3 to March 31, 2026. Spread across approximately 15 acres, the garden is regarded as a central feature of the presidential estate and is known for its extensive floral displays, including around 250 varieties of roses. The landscaped grounds also feature fragrant shrubs and climbers such as mogra, juhi, gardenia, bougainvillea and climbing roses, along with six lotus-shaped fountains that rise up to about 12 feet.

A Hindi Play At India Habitat Centre
The Hindi comedy play “Jeene Bhi Do Yaaro,” presented by the Yatri Theatre group and written and directed by Om Katare, will be staged at the Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The production explores the humorous yet relatable dynamics of modern relationships, particularly the shift that occurs after marriage when romantic expectations meet everyday realities, using witty dialogue and situational comedy to reflect on contemporary domestic life. Widely regarded as one of the most powerful works of American independent cinema, the film follows Mabel Longhetti, portrayed by Gena Rowlands, whose emotional struggles and unconventional behaviour place strain on her marriage and family life, offering a deeply human and uncompromising exploration of mental health, domestic pressures and womanhood. The screening forms the opening event of the programme, which continues with Hayao Miyazaki’s animated classic 'Kiki’s Delivery Service' and the Czech New Wave cult film 'Daisies,' creating a curated cinematic journey through diverse portrayals of women across cultures and eras.
