As part of the Culture Connects global programme in India, the British Council and Public Arts Trust of India present Tiered Reflections, an immersive light-based installation by renowned UK artist Liz West. Originally commissioned for Jodhpur Arts Week, this dynamic artwork reimagines the geometric beauty of Toorji ka Jhalra stepwell’s central pavilion. Now adapted for India Art Fair 2025, the installation at British Council New Delhi retains colours inspired by its Jodhpur origins while incorporating bold new hues that reflect its Delhi setting. Open to the public from 5 February to 26 February 2025, Tiered Reflections combines mirrored surfaces and vibrant shades to create a kaleidoscopic experience. Keen enthusiasts can head out to engage with the ever-changing play of light and reflection, offering a meditative and sensory journey that blends history and modernity in a living, evolving artwork.

Amrit Udyan, formerly known as Mughal Gardens, spans over 15 acres and represents the essence of Rashtrapati Bhavan.
