Amaltas

The state flower of Chandigarh, Amaltas blooms in late spring in different parts of India. The Golden shower tree is planted widely on the sidewalks of Delhi, you will find them lying on the pavements.

Palaash

Jungle ki aag (flame of the forest), is a dry deciduous tree native to the Indian subcontinent. The state flower of Jharkhand, they are used to create natural Holi colours. Palash forests in full bloom can be found in Palasdari, Maharashtra, near Karjat, Delhi, Ranchi and Madhya Pradesh.

Semal

In spring-summer, they shed all their leaves and turn red with thousands of flowers on them. The largest Semal trees can be found in Uttarakhand's Nandhaur Wildlife Reserve. The trees are abundant in India's dry deciduous forests, particularly in Tripura, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh.

Shirish

Shirish is a native Indian tree that is also known as Rain Trees (because you can hide under their massive canopy when it rains). Its flowers appear in a variety of colours including neon, orange, red, pink, and white. These are found on the streets of Fort Kochi, Bangalore, Panjim, and South Bombay.

Java Rani

A common garden tree in India, Java Rani trees are native to southeast Asia. The pink and white flowers of the tree easily shed petals, and can be found on pavements throughout Chandigarh and Central Delhi.

Although native to South America, the Cannon Ball tree, also known as Naag-Ling, holds significant value in Hinduism and Buddhism in India. Naag-Ling is the state flower of Pondicherry and can commonly be found on the streets of Bandra, Mumbai, and Pondicherry.

Jarul

The common name for this South Asian native tree is "Pride of India." It serves as Maharashtra's official flower as well. The trees are spread in the Western Ghats. In Mumbai's Sanjay Gandhi National Park, you can easily take pictures of them. They are common throughout Central Delhi as well.
