Preparations for the inauguration of the Ram Temple are in full swing. As per latest developments, a picture has been doing the rounds online that shows two elephants in the welcome posture in the middle panel of a golden door. This is the first image of one of the 13 golden doors that are said to be installed in the Ram Temple in Ayodhya within the next three days, including the large gate of the sanctum sanctorum.
In the upper half of the door, a palace-like shape is seen where two servants are standing with folded hands, while on the lower half there are four squares which are engraved with intricate designs of beautiful artworks.
The Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust recently shared captivating images of the ongoing construction of the Ram Mandir, illuminated against the night sky. These images provide a glimpse into the intricate craftsmanship, showcasing sculptures of Jatayu and beautifully carved figures of deities adorning the temple's pillars and walls. The Ram Mandir, designed in the traditional Nagara style, stands as a three-storied shrine with impressive dimensions — 380 feet in length, 250 feet in width, and 161 feet in height. The architectural marvel boasts 392 pillars, 44 doors, and five Mandaps (halls), including the Rang Mandap, Nritya Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Kirtan and Prarthna Mandaps.
As preparations intensify for the 'pran-prathistha' ceremony of Ram Lalla scheduled for January 22, the temple's entrance gate has been adorned with idols of elephants, lions, Lord Hanuman, and Garuda — the divine vehicle of Lord Vishnu. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to grace the occasion, attending the inauguration ceremony and performing rituals in the sanctum sanctorum around 12:15 pm. Invitation cards have been extended to over 7,000 guests, including 3,000 VVIPs encompassing priests, donors, and various political figures. The event marks a significant milestone in India's cultural and religious landscape, symbolising the fulfilment of a long-cherished dream for millions across the nation.
