The National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI)&rsquos Mumbai chapter is hosting India&rsquos first Cloud Kitchen Convention powered by Petpooja on April 12, 2022 at The Lalit Mumbai. This convention will be an exclusive and first-of-its kind event by the industry where leading players from the cloud kitchen space will get together and share extensive information during the sessions.

The pandemic thwarted not just our travel plans, but also barred us all from eating out or even placing online orders from our favourite eateries. But the year was wrapped in the aroma of home-cooked dishes delivered from someone&rsquos kitchen, and of meal subscription plans, and cloud kitchens.&nbspThe pandemic resulted in flourishing businesses for home bakers and cooks, and cloud kitchen owners.

&ldquoThe pandemic gave the burgeoning cloud kitchen industry a significant tailwind,' says Rachel Goenka, Co-Chapter Head of NRAI Mumbai Chapter CEO & Founder of The Chocolate Spoon Company. "We saw many standalone restaurants pivoting to the model as an ancillary revenue stream. This convention provides a platform for the experienced players in this space to share their learnings with current and upcoming entrepreneurs.&rdquo

The cloud kitchen industry is expected to become a two billion dollar industry in India by 2024, with the potential to expand its horizon on a global level. It will also pave the way for accelerating and revolutionising the concept of dine-in restaurants and cafes. Through this convention, NRAI aims to help this ecosystem grow to higher levels.

&ldquoCloud kitchens are the disruptors that are changing the landscape of the food industry," says Pranav Rungta, Chapter Head of NRAI Mumbai Chapter Managing Director of Mint Hospitality. "Moreover, the format allows businesses to delve into the crux of channelising their financial resources in an optimum manner by eliminating extra expenditure. In terms of scalability, technology, profitability, and effective management, cloud kitchen environments can create a massive impact globally.&rdquo

The convention, spearheaded by Pranav Rungta and Rachel Goenka, will feature a series of power packed panel discussions with more than 40 Speakers highlighting the power of cloud kitchens, their inherent advantages and key imperatives such as sustainability, profitability, growth, marketing and much more.

As per the proposed agenda, the convention will commence at 11am with a welcome address by Kabir Suri, President of NRAI and will close with networking and cocktails from 7pm onwards. Riyaaz Amlani, CEO & MD of Impresario Entertainment & Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. will spearhead a discussion on Winning Strategies & Possible Pitfalls. Rahul Singh, Founder & CEO of The Beer Cafe will host a panel on Role of Technology in Cloud Kitchen Efficiency. Anurag Katriar, Founder & Managing Director of Indigo Hospitality Pvt. "With appropriate information on the roadblocks, challenges, profitable structure, advantages, and futuristic goals of Cloud Kitchens, this convention will set a prime example for budding chefs and restaurant owners to create their own roadmap to success.&rdquo

This mega convention will be an immersive experience highlighting the importance of creating a sustainable cloud kitchen environment, effective management, long-term financial and operational planning, powerplay of technology in increasing productivity and much more.
