Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is now open in the UAE, offering eco-luxury to Ras Al Khaimah. It is located on a private peninsula with sands and mangroves, featuring a 174-room resort with gardens, a pool, and a mangrove sanctuary, all against the backdrop of the Hajar mountains and views of the Arabian Gulf.

Various accommodations are available, including guest rooms and suites in the main building or traditional riads. They evoke sophistication with locally inspired design elements and offer views from private balconies or terraces.

Designed by Wilson Associates and Perkins Eastman, the resort introduces Maldivian-inspired luxury to Ras Al Khaimah, featuring overwater villas with living space, an outdoor deck, a private plunge pool, views of the Arabian Gulf, a natural mangrove lagoon, and a reserved cabana on the villa-only beach. The resort ensures villa guests' unique preferences are met with a dedicated Villa Host service, and guests receive complimentary experiences such as massages or a private barbecue.

Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels and Group CEO of Minor International, the parent company of Anantara, stated, "We are launching the Anantara brand in Ras Al Khaimah, marking its ninth property in the United Arab Emirates. We believe the new resort will be well received by the market and contribute to the continued growth and positioning."


Anantara Mina Al Arab features six dining venues for guests daily. The signature restaurant, Mekong, offers a culinary journey through Thailand, Vietnam, and China, showcasing dishes from Asia's most storied waterway. Beach House draws inspiration from the laidback living of the Mediterranean, providing gastronomy featuring fresh coastal cuisine. Additional options include Sea Breeze, the all-day dining restaurant, a gourmet deli, a pool bar, and a lobby lounge and bar. For a more intimate experience, guests can engage the services of a personal chef with Dining by Design, Anantara's private dining concept, enjoying meals served at a table for two on the beach or even aboard a private yacht.

Anantara Mina Al Arab offers guests the chance to engage with local culture and the destination through various experiences. Activities include hiking on Jebel Jais, kayaking in mangroves, and luxury cruises in the Arabian Gulf. The resort, situated in the nature and adventure emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, provides adrenaline-fueled options like ziplining and tobogganing on Jebel Jais. Guests can explore an Emirati pearl farm or go hot-air ballooning over the desert. The resort also features water sports, leisure facilities, and Anantara Spa, with treatments using indigenous ingredients. The spa overlooks the sea and mangroves, offering a serene experience with various amenities, including seven treatment rooms and traditional therapies.


Anantara Mina Al Arab emphasises sustainability by implementing measures to eliminate plastic use, reduce waste, and conserve energy. Accommodations are constructed with eco-friendly materials, considering the preservation of the surrounding ecosystem, including mangroves that host diverse wildlife. The resort encourages visitors to minimise their carbon footprint and plans to introduce an interactive discovery centre on-site to promote a love for nature, especially among the younger generation.
