The Swami Haridas Tansen Sangeet Nritya Mahotsav, one of India’s most prestigious classical music and dance festivals, returns for its 26th edition. The festival features an extraordinary lineup of maestros, including Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Begum Parween Sultana, Smt. Shubha Mudgal, Ustad F. Wasifuddin Dagar, Ustad Shujat Khan, and Pt. Vishwamohan Bhatt, alongside enchanting performances by Dr. Uma Sharma and her disciples, and a sitar-cello jugalbandi by Pt. Shubhendra Rao and Vidushi Saskia Rao. Paying tribute to Swami Haridas and Tansen, the festival blends tradition with inspiration, presenting performances in an intimate Mehfil Andaaz to honour the guru-shishya parampara and engage younger audiences in India’s classical heritage.
