Guests need to inform the Hyatt Regency at least three days before their arrival on the dogs or cats they will bring with them. Fees for pets are INR 2500 up to three nights but it’s best to check with the management for more information.

Perched on the Shivalik foothills, the Tree of Life Resort has five acres of lush greenery and calm surroundings which will soothe all city life worries away. On a clear night guests can even see the lights of nearby Mussoorie. Their suites are a blend of the modern and traditional with high ceilings, natural light, four-poster beds and spacious bathrooms. Their gazebo is a charming place to lap up the picturesque landscape and regional food. The resort is also a pet-friendly space but check with the management for fees and costs.

The Mango Tree Courtyard is a 10-suite boutique hotel in the foothills of the Himalayas. Classic colonial architecture meets contemporary luxury in this relaxing heritage property which has a rooftop terrace and lush gardens to boot. Due to its proximity to the Clock Tower and the Indian Military Academy it is a convenient spot to stay at for visitors. Their on-site restaurant is worth checking out, too.

There is no additional fee for bringing your pets but requests for meat or milk to feed them is chargeable.

The Sylvan Retreat

Spread across nine acres The Sylvan Retreat farmhouse comprises of two splendid cottages and a couple of suites tucked away in a verdant valley. Guests will be in the company of chirping birds, innumerable flowers, a mango orchard and endless green grass. Cricket, badminton, archery and Frisbee are some of the outdoor sports visitors can enjoy on the estate while also making time for a river walk and live barbeque.

The farmhouse is a dog-friendly property and guests will have to pay an additional fee to include them in their stay. Check with the management for more information.

Gorayya Villa

Getting There

Jolly Grant Airport (DED) is the nearest airport in Dehradun. You can fly from almost all major cities and hire a cab to your hotel. The Dehradun train station (DDN) is in Lakkhi Bagh and is well-connected to different cities in India. Visitors can also hop on to any of the private or state-run buses from nearby cities to reach Dehradun.
