It is home to many indigenous and exotic botanical species. Visitors can see red bright Gulmohar flowers lining the motorable road in the park, and also spot statues of Queen Victoria and King Edward VII.

Those visiting the park can also walk up to the State Archeological Museum which is the oldest in the country and the Bangalore Aquarium which is situated in an octagonal building and has three different zones for different water species. How to reach it One can easily reach the park via cab, KSRTC bus or by getting down at the Cubbon Park Metro Station from where the park is roughly 100m away.

Also, visit the Bannerghatta National Park which is roughly 22 km away from the city. Covering a massive area, this national park was established in the year 1971 and houses the first butterfly park in the country. It offers many engaging activities like boating and a grand safari. The park has well-defined animal zones where the probability of spotting them is much higher than other national parks.

Church Street, a place that smells of youthfulness, is a famous tourist spot. The 750m street, named after St. Mark&rsquos Cathedral, gives way to a rich diversity of cuisines, cafes, showrooms and antique book shops. One old book store is &lsquoBlossom&rsquo which is home to the most exquisite books. Church Street also gives a platform to live performers and visitors can often hear music coming from Rooster Guitars.

Bengaluru is also home to &lsquoIndia&rsquos First Luxury Mall&rsquo called the UB City Mall, famous for its aesthetic infrastructure, both inside and out.

For shoppers who love budget, Commercial Street is close to the famous MG Road. The street has a lot to offer in clothing, food and jewellery, all at economical rates. A fine comparison of the place would be with the Sarojini Market of Delhi.
