Norwegian Cruise Line Extends Suspension of Voyages

The suspension includes all voyages for Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises with embarkation dates from November 1 through November 30, 2020

Leading global cruise company Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, which operates the Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises brands, has announced an extension of its previous suspension of global cruise voyages. All voyages that were scheduled to embark between November 1 and November 30 for the three cruise brands stand suspended till further notice.

In an official statement, the company said that it will continue to work in tandem with global governments and public health authorities and its Healthy Sail Panel of expert advisors to take all necessary measures to protect its guests, crew and the communities visited. 

The move comes as part of the cruise company&rsquos efforts to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Guests who are currently booked on cancelled voyages on Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises or Regent Seven Seas Cruises have been asked to contact their travel advisor or the cruise line for more information.

Earlier this month, Norwegian Cruise Line had unveiled a collection of freshly prepared Europe itineraries for the years 2021 and 2022. Under these itineraries, guests would be able to choose from a range of seven ships sailing in the region. As part of the company&rsquos new itineraries for its voyages to Mediterranean and Northern Europe, guests would get to spend more time to explore every destination.

Expressing his gratitude towards Indian guests, who are keen to travel to European countries, Manoj Singh, Country Head-India of Norwegian Cruise Line had in a press release, stated that their unique itineraries cater to all kinds of travellers and guests would have many exciting options to choose from their itineraries.
