For the 2026–27 season, IRCTC has introduced three curated journeys covering key cultural and scenic destinations across southern India:

• Jewels of South (6 days): Bengaluru, Mysuru, Kanchipuram, Mahabalipuram, Thanjavur, Chettinad, Cochin

IRCTC has put out discounts for selected departures next season, with fares cut by 20 per cent depending on availability. Early bookers get another 5 per cent off if payment is made by 30 June 2026.

The package stays all-inclusive—meals, some drinks, guided sightseeing in air-conditioned coaches, monument tickets, and set dining stops off the train along the route.
