Within the whole experience, guests will also retain the luxury to indulge in souvenir-shopping and the specially designed Maharaja postcard which are part of the airline's effort to create a more engaging pre-flight experience.
Air India's CEO and Managing Director Campbell Wilson said the new lounge represents a significant milestone in the airline's transformation and is intended to set a new benchmark in aviation hospitality.
The new Delhi facility is only the first in a series of modern lounges Air India expects to come up with across India and international destinations. The series is part of its customer-experience overhaul.
