The game-changing Vande Bharat sleeper train is a groundbreaking initiative developed by Bharat Earth Movers Limited, BEML. Unveiled in September by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, this semi-high-speed train marks a significant milestone in the Indian railway sector. It offers the first-ever direct rail connection between the capital city of New Delhi and the breathtaking natural beauty of the Kashmir Valley. Imagine embarking on a seamless and comfortable journey over 800 kilometres, transforming the travel experience into a 13-hour journey.
According to sources, the Delhi-Srinagar-New Delhi Vande Bharat Sleeper train will include various coach options. The train will feature 11 AC 3-tier coaches, 4 AC 2-tier coaches, and 1 First AC coach, catering to different comfort levels and preferences.
