Marina Riviera has reopened its guestrooms and cabins in Big Bear Lake, Southern California's mountain town. The 1968 lodge, restored by the Casetta Group, now offers a design-focused boutique experience. Located on the lake's south shore in the San Bernardino Mountains, Marina Riviera blends the outdoors with modern mountain comfort. The hotel has 42 guest rooms in the main lodge, many with lake views and private balconies, and six two-bedroom cabins on Big Bear Blvd. It's a 10-minute shuttle ride to Big Bear Mountain Resort and a five-minute walk to The Village at Big Bear Lake for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Visiting Palihotel San Diego is a good idea for those interested in historical architecture. Palisociety has transformed the 1912-built Hotel St. James into Palihotel San Diego, which opened in 2023 in the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego. With 122 guest rooms, the hotel offers a design-centric experience with a preppy, nautical-inspired style. It includes a new restaurant and an exclusive roof deck for guests, featuring a daily social hour and city views. The Imperial Hotel recently made it to San Francisco's luxury hotel scene, offering a destination worth staying and exploring. Established in 1879, this brick building replaced a wooden hotel destroyed by a fire in 1878. The hotel has undergone extensive restoration work in 1968 and 1988 and proudly continues its original purpose in California Gold Country.
In 2022, new owners, who also own the nearby Break Even Beermakers, took charge of the property. They introduced contemporary updates and a fresh interior design that pays homage to the building's history, with its original brick walls, robust wooden beams, high ceilings, and wooden floors.
