We have joined EarthCheck, the world's leading scientific benchmarking and certification group for the tourism and travel industry. We use solar panels to power certain operations, significantly reducing the carbon footprint. Low-flow fixtures, WTP and STP greywater recycling drastically cut down our water usage. Zero-Waste initiatives include comprehensive recycling and composting programs for minimum waste. We have a step garden/farm in our resort and also partner with local farms to provide fresh, seasonal ingredients to our restaurants, reducing transportation emissions and supporting the local economy. We utilized recycled, reclaimed and sustainably sourced materials in construction and decor, which helped us minimize environmental impact. Electric vehicle charging stations, BS VI vehicles, electric buggies for guests and hotel services encourage greener modes of travel. Guests are also encouraged to participate in local conservation efforts and sustainability initiatives, such as opting out of daily housekeeping, and are provided with eco-friendly amenities and supplies and glass bottles made in an in-house water bottling plant (no plastic), fostering a community-focused approach.
