Every time a long weekend arrives, we want to make the best of it. Here are some movies that would make you finally act on a road trip plan with your pals.

The Bucket List

This one is a fun watch and a classic with two dying friends taking a road trip to fulfil their travel dreams before they are out of time. Think Around The World In 80 Days and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara combined, and you have your bucket list.

Due Date

This hilarious movie starring Zach Galifianakis and Robert Downey Jr. will make you grab a friend and just go out on the road. From laugh-out-loud situations to the wholesome bromance of the two, Due Date makes for a fun watch with friends over the weekend.

Borat

Borat goes to the States with dreams of marrying Pamela Anderson and encounters frat boys, a rodeo gig and lots of hilarious albeit dicey situations. Sacha Baron Cohen is at his funniest in this and is sure to make your bones tickle while making you dream of going on an American road trip.

The End Of The Tour

Jason Segel shines as David Foster Wallace in this movie as he spends his days touring his book and conversing with Rolling Stone reporter David Lipsky, who is played brilliantly by Jesse Eisenberg. If you are a Wallace fan (and no, you don&rsquot have to finish Infinite Jest to be his fan), then you will enjoy the movie even more as it takes you deep into the writer&rsquos life and how similar and different we all are regardless of our place in the world.

Dil Chahta Hai

The ultimate Bollywood road trip movie that set the tone and acted as a benchmark for future films with similar concepts. Saif Ali Khan, Amir Khan and Akshay Khanna&rsquos trio go road-tripping in Goa and grow up in the span of the movie. A funny, heartfelt tale of friendships and relationships with some of the most catchy tunes you will find.
