Considering our embarrassment of cultural riches, celebrating our heritage may as well be a daily affair. Perhaps thats the reasoning behind Heritage 365, an initiative by Neemrana Hotels, a group already well known for its commitment to the conservation and enjoyment of Indias built heritage. The two-day showcase of art, craft, garments, textiles, gems, jewellery, fashion and heritage tourism from the colourful states of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, will take place on November 25 and 26 at Delhis Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (11am-8pm). Expect to see a range of fascinating displays master craftsmen exhibiting Gond art, miniature paintings, block paintings and blue pottery, among others. Also planned is an exchange of ideas with the Italian Embassy on the preservation and revival of arts and crafts.
