Kulcha, a type of bread made with all-purpose flour, can be found in many parts of North India. However, the Amritsari Kulcha is quite distinct. It is a flatbread that can be stuffed with a variety of fillings, such as spicy boiled potatoes, paneer, gobhi, and onions. This lip-smacking flatbread is filled with select spices and boiled potatoes, making it a delight to eat. Legend has it that a royal Khansama of Emperor Shah Jahan's kitchen once presented a stuffed kulcha to the emperor, who loved the dish so much that it became his breakfast staple.
