Spanning over 300 acres, it provides a lush backdrop to key administrative buildings such as the Vidhana Soudha and Karnataka High Court. Initially known as Meade Park after the Commissioner of Mysuru in 1870, it was later renamed Cubbon Park after Sir Mark Cubbon, the longest-serving commissioner. The park is home to a wide variety of indigenous and exotic botanical species. This weekend, you can visit the park and enjoy a stand-up comedy open mic session organised by the Bengaluru-based Earthlings Comedy Theatre. Karnivool is an Australian progressive metal band that was formed in Perth, Western Australia in 1998. They are currently in India as part of the Tri-Continental Drift Tour 2024. The Australian architects of progressive metal are known for their genre-bending soundscapes, and they will bring the raw power of their latest work as well as classics to Bengaluru this weekend.
