The all-day dining restaurant 7 Isles is hosting their first-ever food festival, "MH 48 – A Journey Through Maharashtrian Culinary Heritage" this weekend. Curated by the executive chef at the Navi Mumbai Marriott Hotel, Rohan Malwankar, guests will embark on a tantalising culinary journey through Maharashtra’s rich gastronomic traditions, from the bustling streets of Mumbai to the rustic kitchens of Kolhapur, Nashik and beyond. The festival brings together an eclectic mix of long-lost recipes and classic Maharashtrian dishes, showcasing the state’s diversity in flavours and ingredients. Guests will have the opportunity to indulge in local favorites like Mumbai chaat, the hearty pithla bhakri, flavourful misal pao, crispy kothimbir vadi, zesty sev bhaji, stuffed and spiced bharaleli wangi, and the comforting rassa poha, among other dishes. Complementing the food will be locally crafted beverages such as kokam sharbat and solkadi, alongside other unique drinks and cocktails sourced from various parts of the state.
