Altaf Chapri, the founder and managing director of AB Chapri Retreats, runs small, intimate, low-impact properties—Neeleshwar Hermitage in North Kerala and Qayaam Gah at the foothills of the Zabarwan Hills just outside Srinagar—on the principles of sustainability and responsible tourism.
