Visit these Studios in Dublin where Lady Gaga once Recorded her Songs

Music is a universal language, something everybody can relate to and love. While some partake in it for just leisure, there is a growing population of those who wish to understand the technical aspects of the art. These audiophiles can now do exactly that through guided tours at Windmill Lane Recording Studios in Dublin, Ireland.

The studio was founded in 1978 and became popular when rock band U2 recorded their album there. Many A-listers followed suit, including Lady Gaga, The Rolling Stones, Kate Bush, Hozier, The Cranberries, and Van Morrison. It is safe to say that the studio has seen some iconic recordings. The studios were relocated in 1990 to an art deco structure in the Dublin Docklands. Unfortunately, the original studio structure covered in graffiti fan art for U2 was demolished in 2016. Nevertheless, the studio has been home to several legendary rock albums.

Now, the doors of the studios have opened for visitors who would like to experience the process of audio production up close. A one-hour immersive experience will explore the history of the studios and elaborate on audio production&mdashvisitors can even attempt to create their own mix The tour will include audio-visual media and creative storytelling, unveiling the creation of music over 40 years in the studios. The same was inaugurated by President Micheal D Higgins. 

Adults over 16 will be charged &euro22, children of age 15 and below will need to pay &euro15, students&rsquo fare is &euro18, and a family of four will be charged &euro58. Visit their official website for more details.
