According to reports, it will likely depart Patna at 8 PM and arrive in Delhi by 7:30 AM, offering passengers a faster and smoother alternative on one of India’s busiest routes.

Unlike the current chair-car Vande Bharat trains, the new sleeper version will feature berths, making it more suitable for long-distance, overnight travel. It will run at a maximum speed of 180 km/h and is expected to be priced about 10–15 per cent higher than the Rajdhani Express, offering enhanced services in return.

Manufactured by Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) using advanced Integral Coach Factory (ICF) technology, the train will also come equipped with modern amenities such as CCTV surveillance, LED infotainment screens, automatic doors with safety sensors, on-board announcements, and cutting-edge fire safety systems.
