Collaborating with Government of India Tourism&rsquos Incredible India campaign, Gourmet Planet, will be presenting  'The Great Indian Golchakkar',  a three-day carnival celebrating the gastronomical, artisanal and musical culture of modern India, at The Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, from Feb 5-7, 2016.

The carnival will showcase music from Jazz and Blues to Ska, EDM, Electronica, Hindi Rock, Sufi and everything in between. Coke Studio will be holdig a live set at The GIG along with The Karsh Kale Collective, Prateek Kuhad, Hamza & Mannu, Medieval Punditz and others. Display of India&rsquos rare craftsmanship will range from the traditional natural perfumes of Kannauj, Rogan art from Gujarat, stone pottery from Meghalaya, Jamdani from Benaras, silver filigree work from Odisha, mask making from Majuli, leather craft from Pondicherry, etc.  The GIG will also have a luxury crafts section emphasising on luxury Made-In-India brands that combine traditional methodologies with modern design. The varied regional foods of India will be a prominent feature at The Great Indian Golchakkar.
