Run cross-country along Maharashtra--s Konkan coast

Registration for the Konkan Kinara run (September 23, 2015) closes on September 15

Catch a glimpse of the beautiful seacoast near Maharastra&rsquos Ratnagiri town on this cross-country run to be held on September 23, 2015. To promote sporting activities as well as tourism in the area, Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) and JSW Steel is organising the Konkan Kinara Cross Country 2015. The men&rsquos 14km open cross country run will begin from Shree Jai Vinayak Temple in Chaferi village. For all other categories, it will begin from the Daryasarang Resort near Malgund Beach. The run will conclude at the gate of the MTDC Resort in Ganpatipule (opposite the famous beach-side Ganpati temple). Even if you are not participating, you can cheer the runners as they race down the coast.
