The annual International Yoga Festival, organised by Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, begins from March 1, 2015. The event will be held on the banks of the river Ganga, in the lap of the sacred Himalayas. This year, the festival is focusing on the origin of Yoga. Participants will get the opportunity to practise with and learn from masters from the traditional Yoga schools of India, as well as from masters of international repute. During this one-week festival, you can participate in over 60 hours of yoga classes and practise multiple styles of yoga, including Kundalini Yoga, Power Vinyasa Yoga, Iyengar Yoga and Kriya Yoga. In between the hard work, relax by listening to soulful kirtans, and watching the divine Ganga Aarti.
