Global Hotel Alliance Expands Asia-Pacific Network With 26 Far East Hospitality Properties

Travellers heading to Singapore, Malaysia or Japan will soon have more hotel options to choose from through Global Hotel Alliance (GHA). The alliance has partnered with Singapore-based Far East Hospitality, bringing 26 hotels and serviced residences with 6,212 rooms into its global network. The properties are expected to join GHA’s loyalty programme, GHA DISCOVERY, in early 2027.

The partnership expands GHA’s presence across Asia Pacific and gives Far East Hospitality access to a wider pool of international travellers. For guests, it means more places to stay while earning and using rewards across participating hotel brands.

26 Properties Across Three Countries

The partnership covers properties across Singapore, Malaysia and Japan, bringing five Far East Hospitality brands into the alliance. These include Oasia, Quincy, Rendezvous, Village and Far East Collection.

The brands cater to different kinds of travellers, whether they are visiting a city for a few days, travelling for work or looking for accommodation for a longer stay. The portfolio includes both hotels and serviced residences, offering options for short visits as well as extended trips.

Singapore remains central to the group's operations, while its presence in Malaysia and Japan adds to the range of destinations available through the partnership.

For GHA, the addition strengthens its network in a region that continues to be an important market for international travel. It also brings more variety to its portfolio, which brings together independent hotel brands from across the world.

What Travellers Can Expect

One of the main benefits of the partnership is access to GHA DISCOVERY, which has more than 38 million members worldwide.

The loyalty programme allows members to earn and redeem Discovery Dollars (D$) across participating hotel brands. Other benefits include member rates, room upgrades, local offers and experiences.

Once the Far East Hospitality properties join the programme in early 2027, guests will have more opportunities to use these benefits across Singapore, Malaysia and Japan.

For existing GHA DISCOVERY members, this means more choices when planning a trip to the region. Those who regularly stay with Far East Hospitality will also be able to connect their hotel stays to a wider loyalty network.

The partnership gives the hotel group a chance to reach travellers who may not have come across its properties before, particularly those who already use GHA DISCOVERY when booking accommodation.

Five Brands, Different Stays

Far East Hospitality follows what it calls a Singapore-inspired approach to hospitality, built around four attributes: comfort, attention, aesthetics and elegance.

While the five brands share this philosophy, each has its own identity and caters to different guest preferences. This allows the group to offer a mix of experiences rather than a single style of stay.

The arrangement also reflects how GHA works with regional hotel groups. Instead of bringing every property under one brand, the alliance allows its partners to retain their own identity while benefiting from a shared loyalty programme and international reach.

Chris Hartley, CEO of Global Hotel Alliance, said Far East Hospitality's regional presence and distinctly Asian approach to hospitality made it a natural fit. He also pointed to Singapore's role as a gateway to Asia and the additional choices the partnership would bring to members.

Growing Across Asia Pacific

For Far East Hospitality, joining GHA is an opportunity to introduce its properties to a larger international audience while continuing to build on its existing brands.
