Its only open to public on Fridays, and dont you pho-get it

It&rsquos a secret that was tightly kept under wraps (rice paper-thin, if you will) until very recently. The canteen at the Vietnam Embassy in Delhi opens up to the general public once every week on Fridays. On other days, the same canteen is off limits to anyone who isn&rsquot part of the embassy or a diplomat.

What does one get here Authentic Vietnamese fare that&rsquos rare to get your hands on in Delhi. The canteen itself is a basic space serving no more than ten dishes, but each comes packed with flavor. To begin the meal, there are spring rolls and noodle rolls. For the mains, there are the usual suspects&mdashpho, a meaty Vietnamese soup served with noodles with different toppings with a choice between chicken and buffalo, along with Bun Cha, fried rice and mixed noodles.

Now Delhi loves its canteens starting from the state bhavans serving thalis from south India to the Italian canteen at the Italian Cultural Institute in Chanakyapuri. And it couldn't be happier about this addition to the list.
