The store, named Kama Gizmos, was launched on Valentine&rsquos Day, and bears the distinction of being the country&rsquos first physical and legal store of its kind. A breath of fresh air in a country where the word &lsquosex&rsquo is uttered in a stepped-down, hushed voice, across cultures, porn is banned and&mdasha culture where one would rather lose their wallet than purchase a condom at a medical store. This is despite the fact that we're the second-most populous country in the world and among the ones that consume the most porn anyway.
Surprisingly, Kama Gizmos doesn't have any of the tacky frills and trappings of the pop-culture sex toy shop&mdashno nude women posing on posters, no garish interiors one neon sign outside the shop that quietly invites customers inside (not to imply that sex should be any more discreet than other subjects).
Vibrators and other accessories for sale at the store, however, are fashioned to look like other products.
