In a recent update, the Southern Railway has announced that the launch of a new superfast express service between Dr. MGR Chennai Central and Bhagat Ki Kothi, near Jodhpur, in Rajasthan. The train is slated to considerably improve inter-state connectivity. Scheduled to launch on May 5, the newly introduced travel option will improve upon the travellers' mobility between India's south and northwest regions. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will hold a video conference to officially launch the train's first run, designated 20625, on May 3.

Schedule Of The Superfast Express Train Between Chennai and Bhagat Ki Kothi

The train is scheduled to leave Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 7:45 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. It is expected to arrive in Bhagat Ki Kothi at 12:15 pm on the third day.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, the return service (number 20626) will depart Bhagat Ki Kothi at 5:30 am and arrive in Chennai Central at 11:15 pm the next day.

This long route is intended to serve travellers from a variety of geographic locations, making travel between the country's south and northwest easier. Sullurupeta, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Balharshah, Chandrapur, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Bhusaval, Vadodara, Sabarmati BG, and Mahesana are just a few of the important stations the train will stop at while travelling through several states.

Amenities On Board

Six sleeper class coaches, four general second class coaches, four AC three-tier coaches, four AC three-tier economy coaches, and two AC two-tier coaches make up the train's composition. With multiple classes to fit a range of tastes and price ranges, this system seeks to accommodate a varied spectrum of passengers.
