Udaipur is adding another luxury address to its growing hospitality landscape with the upcoming opening of jüSTa Luxé Monsoon Palace on October 11. Set along Sajjangarh Road, beside the historic Monsoon Palace and Biological Park, the new hotel sits amid the Aravalli hills on the outskirts of the city.
For jüSTa, the opening marks its fourth hotel in Udaipur and eighth property in Rajasthan, further strengthening its presence in one of the country’s most popular leisure and destination wedding markets. It also expands Onora Hospitality’s growing national portfolio, which currently includes 34 operational hotels across 12 states, with another 16 properties in the pipeline under its brands, including jüSTa Hotels & Resorts, jüSTa Luxé, Bookmark Resorts and Nuo by jüSTa. Once these properties open, the group’s portfolio will comprise 50 hotels.
Rooms With A View

The hotel’s 34 rooms and suites are divided across four categories, with each opening onto a private balcony overlooking either the Monsoon Palace or the surrounding Aravalli hills.
The accommodation includes 14 Premium Rooms Aravali View, 17 Deluxe Rooms Monsoon Palace View, two Aravali Suites and a Luxury Suite with Bathtub. The Deluxe Rooms are the property’s signature category and come with a king Cloud Bed, work desk, 55-inch television and rain shower.
The location is one of the hotel’s key draws, placing guests close to one of Udaipur’s most recognisable landmarks while offering a quieter setting away from the bustle of the city.
Dining And Downtime
Aravalli ARQ, the hotel’s all-day multi-cuisine restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner across 30 indoor seats and 34 outdoor covers. Guests can also opt for in-room dining.
For downtime, the property has a 4.5-ft-deep swimming pool and Isa Spa, which features two treatment rooms. A dedicated kids’ play area adds to the family-friendly facilities.
The hotel also plans to offer a selection of experiences, including a Royal Arrival Experience, a Signature High Tea as part of its Terrace Experience and a private candlelight dinner.
A New Wedding Address

Given Udaipur’s reputation as a destination wedding hotspot, events are an important part of the hotel’s offering. Raas Mahal is a 15,000-sq-ft venue with seating for up to 900 guests, while Raas Bageecha offers a 40,000-sq-ft outdoor lawn for larger celebrations and corporate events. A poolside area is available for smaller gatherings.
With its combination of large event spaces, Aravalli surroundings and proximity to the Monsoon Palace, the hotel is positioned to cater to both celebrations and leisure stays.
Things To Do In Udaipur
A stay at jüSTa Luxé Monsoon Palace puts travellers within easy reach of some of Udaipur’s best-known sights. Begin with the City Palace, the sprawling former royal residence overlooking Lake Pichola, and continue to Jagdish Temple, a finely carved 17th-century temple in the heart of the old city.
For a different perspective of Udaipur, take a boat ride on Lake Pichola, particularly around sunset, when the city’s palaces and ghats take on a golden glow. Bagore Ki Haveli, on the waterfront at Gangaur Ghat, is another worthwhile stop for its museum and evening cultural performances.
The Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace, after which the hotel takes its name, is perched high in the Aravallis and offers sweeping views over Udaipur and its surrounding landscape. Travellers can also spend time at Saheliyon Ki Bari, a historic garden known for its fountains and landscaped greenery, or head to Fateh Sagar Lake for an evening by the water.
For those looking to explore beyond the city’s palaces and lakes, the Aravalli landscape around Udaipur offers opportunities for scenic drives and outdoor excursions, making the new hotel a base for both sightseeing and a quieter hill setting.
