"Finding Heaven" by The Tapi Project challenges conventional notions of art and culture. It offers the audience an opportunity to experience fluidity in structure and complete surrender through a blend of folk and contemporary music and poetry. Commissioned by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and the Serendipity Arts Festival, "The Game of Whispers" is an interactive, generative video game that draws parallels between the political intrigue of the Mughal Empire during Shah Jahan's reign and the role of AI-driven disinformation in today's world. Set within a reimagined version of Delhi’s historic Red Fort, this piece explores how rumours, manipulation, and shifting power dynamics reflect the ways modern technology, especially AI, shapes narratives and distorts the truth.

This exhibition explores the evolving role of archives beyond simple preservation, portraying them as active spaces for dialogue that shape and question potential futures. Inspired by Jacques Derrida's concept of "Archive Fever," the exhibition examines the tension between safeguarding historical narratives and fostering new discoveries. It showcases contemporary archival practices in Goa, highlighting various local initiatives and individual artists who utilise photography.
In the Craft section, the "Abundance in Scarcity" project illustrates how artisans in Ladakh utilise limited resources to promote innovation and sustainability. Additionally, the Culinary Arts section will host workshops like "Waste to Value," which examines the concept of food waste through creative and unexpected applications. The organisers hope these initiatives will spark conversations and actions around sustainable practices in art, food, and daily living.
Each year, the festival seeks to transform historic local spaces, allowing audiences from diverse backgrounds to experience the wonders of the arts in fresh and engaging contexts. This year, they are restoring the historic Directorate of Accounts building, which dates back to the 1500s. The grand colonnade and hidden tunnels of this building will be transformed into a vibrant hub for visual art and craft exhibitions at SAF 2024.
The festival will feature several music events. One highlight is River Raag, a unique sunset cruise showcasing classical performances departing Santa Monica Jetty.
