A tribal fiesta

A National Tribal Festival will be held in New Delhi from February 13 - 18, 2015. The festival will showcase the rich diversity of the art and culture of various tribes of India through music and dance, and cuisine as well seminars. There will be exhibition and sale of tribal products, medicines, paintings, etc. The festival will be simultaneously held at three venues Central Park, Connaught Place, Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts and Baba Kharak Singh Marg, New Delhi.

Various dances like the Bhil and Rathwa dance from Gujarat, Baiga from Madhya Pradesh, Gotipua dance of Odisha, Hojagiri from Tripura will be performed besides dances by tribes from Rajasthan and Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh. etc.
