An exciting news comes from the United Arab Emirates for the frequent visitors of the country in India. UAE has recently announced a new tourist visa that is valid for five years and can be used for multiple entries. The primary objective of this visa is to boost tourism and business relations, particularly between India and Dubai. With this visa, tourists can sponsor their stay for up to 90 days per entry and have an option to extend their stay for an additional 90 days.

Moreover, the UAE government has introduced a new visit entry permit for Indian citizens. Starting from January 7, 2024, eligible Indian nationals with standard passports that are valid for at least six months can apply for a single-entry visa upon arrival, which will be valid for 14 days, for a fee of INR 4,078.35 (USD 49.2).

Furthermore, Emirates, in partnership with VFS Global, has launched a pre-approved visa-on-arrival service for Indian passport holders who have booked their travel with Emirates. This move aims to make the entry process more convenient and efficient for Indian travellers.

Emirates Airlines presently offers flights to nine destinations across India, with a total of 167 weekly flights. This lets travellers easily connect to Dubai and over 140 other destinations worldwide. The airline's network in India includes Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Thiruvananthapuram.

Emirates Airlines made its inaugural flight to India on October 25, 1985. This was a significant moment as the flight landed at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport from Dubai International Airport.

Passengers can book their flights conveniently through Emirates' website. They can also use the "manage an existing booking" feature to access the "apply for a UAE visa" section. Upon redirection to the online UAE Visa application portal powered by VFS Global Services, all necessary terms and conditions for facilitating the visa application process are provided.
