Hosted in the capital, the event is a platform to discover and explore artists from India, as well as neighbouring countries. Art galleries, national institutions, charities, and independent artists participate to display their works and engage in discussions.
This year, modern and contemporary art from South Asia will take over as a window to the cultural landscape of diverse places. Auditorium talks about the rising textile arts&mdashfocussing on the medium and pushing its boundaries&mdashwill be conducted by Arshi Irshad Ahamadzai ad Raisa Kabir. And let&rsquos not forget about the performing arts section boasting an impressive line-up, including National Award winner Maya Krishna Rao, multimedia artist Jelili Atiku, and more of the like.
Around the year, IAF hosts initiatives, workshops and programmes to invite unique visitors and add to the art community and audience.
