Upon arrival, I was swiftly driven to my stay for the night—the Deluxe Garden Villa. Tucked a couple of rows back from the shore, it still carried with it the soothing soundtrack of ocean waves.
The villa, styled in calming neutral tones and accented with touches of the sea—like a striking wall feature made from marine rope—felt instantly welcoming. High ceilings added to its airy charm, while the ultra-spacious vanity with its backlit mirror was a detail that brought both elegance and function.

This restaurant is a showstopper not just for its food, but for its heritage-inspired setting: built on-site from the reclaimed timber of a decades-old Thai teak house. The menu honours its roots with authentic specialities often overlooked elsewhere. Standouts for me included the pomelo salad with grilled tiger prawns, the pork salad with roasted rice and Thai herbs, and a deeply comforting massaman curry.
By the time I left, it was clear that SAii Phi Phi Island Village isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a world within itself. With its thoughtful blend of luxury, sustainability, and a deep connection to its natural surroundings, the resort lets you experience Phi Phi at its most soulful.
