Amidst the sprawling, sleek business hotels in Aerocity, Delhis newest hub for business travellers, Andaz Delhi, a concept by the Hyatt group has pioneered a service previously unseen in the Indian hospitality industry. Within its hotel complex, Andaz now offers 129 fully serviced apartments that come in configurations of one, two and three bedroom homes, including some duplex townhouses.

While the property saw a soft launch in January and already hosts a few residents, the formal launchearlier this month declared the residences fully open. The property seeks to embody an essence of Delhi, and life in the city, and has been designed by renowned architectural firm Bauer Latoza Studio from Chicago and interior designer Virgile and Partners from London, and showcases a convergence of traditional Indian elements with more contemporary trends.

Tastefully decorated to maintain a contemporary vibe but also add a homely touch to the interiors, the apartments cater mainly to corporate travellers who plan longer stays than the usual days or weeks long trips. The idea is to provide the comfort of ones own home along with the services and privilege enjoyed during a hotel stay.

The location is ideal, close to all of the exciting new hangout spots in south Delhi, and equally well connected with the business centres in Gurugram. The residences also cater to those living with families, with a unique social environment where guests are encouraged to be part of a community and engage with one another in the warm and inviting public spaces, including a lounge, a private pool for the residences, with a patisserie and coffee shop in the making. Keeping in mind the schedules of the corporateofficials that spend dost of their engrossed in work, household management has been made exponentially easier with grocery and market lists available round the clock, domestic help made available when required and engaging, child-friendly activities on weekends.

Another highlight is the fact that the residences are also pet-friendly, which is a feature that not many players in the hospitality industry can boast of. The team at Andaz also endeavours to familiarise its residents with the city they will call home for a significant amount of time. They do this by organising regular photo walks and exploratory trips around the city, usually taking inspiration from the items listed in Andaz Delhis nostalgic tribute to Delhi, the painstakingly curated guide, 401 Reasons to Fall in Love with Delhi.

With the comforts of a home and the luxury of a hotel, the Andaz residences could become a game changer in the hospitality industry. At the formal launch, Madhav Sehgal, General Manager Andaz Delhi said, Filled with casual comforts and affluent indulgences, at the residences an experience has been created for the discerning. From innovative culinary options at Andaz Delhi to a state-of-the-art Spa and 24-hour fitness center available at the hotel an incredible modern luxury lifestyle is what we offer here at our Andaz residences.
