The United Arab Emirates' capital, Abu Dhabi, is gradually becoming a popular destination for Indian tourists. The city has something for every type of visitor with its ideal blend of contemporary architecture, rich cultural history, exhilarating adventure parks, and serene natural settings.
The emirate is brimming with unique experiences, from family-friendly attractions like Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World on Yas Island to famous landmarks like the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Those who enjoy the outdoors can go on a sunrise safari in the vast desert or kayak through the mangroves. Those who want to relax can take advantage of the luxury of top-notch hotels and spas or relax on the white sand beaches of Saadiyat Island. Whether it’s a short getaway or a longer holiday, Abu Dhabi combines comfort and culture in a way few cities do.
To make travel planning smoother for Indian visitors, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has launched an online learning platform for travel professionals. The Experience Abu Dhabi Experts platform is now available in both English and Hindi. It offers in-depth knowledge about Abu Dhabi through nine modules, covering everything from top tourist sites and accommodation options to food, shopping, and cultural etiquette.
Travel agents who complete the course receive official certification, recognising them as specialists in Abu Dhabi travel. This means they can create more personalised, informed, and well-rounded itineraries for their clients. The training is free, accessible across devices, and available in 13 other languages, including Arabic, French, Spanish, and Urdu.
With the launch of the Experience Abu Dhabi Experts platform in English and Hindi, Indian travel agents now have easier access to detailed, up-to-date information about these kinds of experiences. This means travellers can expect more thoughtful and tailored itineraries, planned by professionals who understand both the destination and the needs of Indian tourists.
Beyond its iconic sites like the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Yas Island’s theme parks, travellers can explore lesser-known experiences, like traditional Emirati dining in the historic Al Ain region, art exhibitions at Manarat Al Saadiyat, or wildlife encounters at the Arabian Wildlife Park on Sir Bani Yas Island. The city's mix of heritage, nature, and modernity makes it appealing for families, solo travellers, and culture seekers alike.
