Gulmarg Gondola Reaches New Heights With 108 Cr Revenue In '23

Recently, the Tourism Department's report for the year 2023 unveiled an impressive milestone: over a million visitors were ferried, contributing significantly to an astounding revenue of Rs 108 crore.

Operated and managed diligently by the J&K Cable Car Corporation, the Gulmarg Gondola remains the shining beacon of Kashmir's tourism. Ascending to a staggering height of 14,000 feet, it proudly claims its status as India's most beloved ropeway, offering unparalleled panoramic views.

Embarking on the Gulmarg Cable Car journey is a two-phase adventure, encompassing a mesmerising ride from Gulmarg resort to Kongdori Valley and culminating in a breathtaking ascent to Apharwath Peak.

In an earnest plea to tourists, Managing Director Raja Yaqoob emphasised the convenience and security of opting for online ticket purchases, advising against potential risks associated with unauthorised agents.
