Taj Mahal To Get A Baby Feeding Room

OT Staff

Taj Mahal is in news and for all the right reasons. Taj Mahal, one of India's UNESCO World Heritage Sites and also one of the most popular and iconic monuments in the world, will soon have a breastfeeding room. This is a very welcoming addition by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and a thoughtful one at that. Keeping sentiments in minds, the addition of a breastfeeding room is an effort to provide breastfeeding mothers some privacy. Taj Mahal will have this facility from July onwards and to make mothers and babies feel comfortable, the room will have facilities like fans, lights, and chairs. Taj Mahal is certainly going to be the first monument in the country to have a baby feeding room but we can also look forward to having this facility in other monuments like Fatehpur Sikri and Agra Fort. It's definitely looking good for mothers and babies travelling to see these beautiful and iconic monuments.
