The world&rsquos largest maker of folding bicycles &mdash read two million bikes across 30 countries &mdash is now making tracks in India. The Dahon Vitesse D7 and Eco3, two of its most popular models, will soon be available to carbon-conscious commuters here. 

These space-saver bikes are especially geared for trips that involve using a car, bus, metro or train for part of the journey. The Vitesse D7, for instance, weighs a mere 11.8kg, has 7-speed internal hub gears, 20-inch wheels and can be folded in under 15 seconds. Time to dust off those cycling shoes and ride the new wave.
