Woodland takes a step in the green direction with their new range of biodegradable shoes. Constructed of vegetable-tanned leather, with natural raw rubber for the sole, a latex-foam footbed and cotton laces and stitching, the footwear also scores on design. Launched in association with Woodland's CSR initiative, Proplanet, these are sturdy shoes that (thankfully) won't last forever.
